How I learn new things and gain some knowledge

BIG FIVE MODEL

Extroversion - Introversion
Confidence - Sensitive
Detail-conscious - Unstructured
Tough-minded - Agreeable
Conforming - Creative

Below here you can see how this Big Five model applies on me.

This, however, is simply a chart, and gives one side of my learning and motivation type, but I decided to take another test about my personality (Jung's test) and then later also learning style tests (VAK and Kolb's test).

After fulfilling the Jung’s test, it gave me some feedback about the methods I use while acquiring new knowledge. I went through both of the aforementioned personality types – ESFP and ENFP – and figured out, that in this case, I rather tend to follow the ESFP approach.

ENFP concluded for me that I enjoy learning when topics are related to people and more importantly, relevant and useful for me or the society. Am I enjoying the things I learn or do? – is the question ESFP-type of people like to ask when to start a new learning process. Most of my own success is often related to the feelings towards the material- the more I enjoy it, the greater my interest is.  Commonly, I found there for me that for more efficient work, I rather prefer networking, active participation and group works, or even educative games and debates. I do not feel that I am good at learning only theoretical materials in the very short time period, and especially, when the information is unstructured or vague- I need to see it presented in a concrete, visual way, the better when it is repetitive, to comprehend it better.

I am able to put my learned knowledge into practice in various areas and reproduce the information in a clear way. It brings me joy, when I can apply something that I have learned at school or in my lectures, into the real life situations or complications. Even though I am able to learn and absorb information from the surrounding, I am bad at time-management and have troubles distributing my time and effort while learning, especially due to my moderate level of tolerance to high level of learning related stress. Therefore, I tend to procrastinate and put off my responsibilities and tasks until the last moment.

More precisely, I describe my learning process and methods in the section of Learning.
